Hey Star....I see there's a bit of confusion between touque and tongue..LOL¿¿ Happy to hear everyone has sorted out what a touque is ....I was starting to wonder what else y'all thought I might be referring to?? and yes I most definitely have gotten my tongue stuck on metal....a metal screen door to be exact I was about 6 or maybe 7 if memory serves me right....it was an honest mistake I was sitting at the back door of the house on the floor with my nosed pressed up against the glass of the porch door sobbing because I was grounded and not able play outside (I'll let you know what I did to get grounded another time that's a whole other blog..LOL) anyways so there I was sitting on the floor and there had been a fresh snow fall and the back pasture was very much in need of snow people...soooo as I sat there breathing on the window it began to fog up so I licked the window to clear the fog and my tongue connected with the metal trim around the window ....and WHAMMO.. there I sat with my tongue frozen to the door....LOL worst part was my brothers decided to the best way to resolve the situation was to open the door...OUCH!¿¿¿

Who would have thought Cali was talking about a hat? How many times have we stuck our tongues on metal objects and gotten them stuck? (stop thinking non frozen)
I do not recall getting my hat froozen anywhere.
So Cali, Have you never stuck your tongue on metal? (and no I am not talking a cowboys belt buckle either...ho hoho)

Ok Cali, I was forced to look up toque. I believe we refer to them as beanies. Wear them all the time in the winter. Hate it when it gets cold enough to have to wear them. Annie

A touque? No worries.. I'll explain...They come in different shapes and sizes and some are better than others depending on the quality.
Now who has that recipe for Woody's apple whatchyamacallit...I just spent 6 hours in a shopping mall and for me that is 5 hours and 45 minutes too long.

Yes, I have done that a few times...Than had to learn to heat the horse bits before putting them in...We used to put the bridles in our jackets (bits inside) to warm them. Now most of the people I know use hair dryers to warm them up first.
Its ok if you find us in the am. We do not mind. We may sound like we are bloggen and drinking, but it is usually a figment of our imaginations. Well, except for Woody...
He sent this card to me, by mistake, while he was here tonight. Than he begged me to send it back to you....

They are far more entertaining than the funny pages....I'd be happy to send you some moose meat but I don't think it fairs well in the post...LOL

Thanks for the welcome home ...Minnesota? I do believe that state is technically farther north than where I'm at...which means you know all about getting your tongue stuck on a metal pole...LOL

Welcome back, again, to the funny farm. I am sure that someone will rename you...LOL. I am still laughing at what you shared. Even though I know it is all true. I was raised in Minnesota and we have those same things happen...
For example, they call this snow??? Whoops. Never mind. Where did this picture come from? This is not the photo that I put up here. There are no mountains in Minnesota...hmmmmmm. Oh, well. Now I am in North Carolina. They "think" it gets cold here and shut down all the schools and government offices at the first sign of a snow flake.
